COMPLETE RESTORATION OF HISTORIC 1811 LOG HOME

Log house had been made into 6 apartments- it was totally gutted for this restoration.

REMODELING OF HISTORIC HOUSE TO BETTER USE SPACES

Instead of putting on an addition, the house was reconfigured. The Kitchen became the Entry and Sitting Room, the original door became the side door (the Turnpike rendered it useless in 1948), the attached Slaughtering Shed became the Family Room, and the old Parlor became the room you see here.

We restored the front facades, brick walks, and limestone curbs and played with the rest.

This Outdoor Kitchen/Porch was a solution to the nat problem- they do not fly under roofs.
Since there are no misquotes here we were able to live outdoors until Thanksgiving- it has a classic wood burning stove.
